News Director!
It's an ordinary day in Jamestown, and I am working away in the office. The sun is shining, things seem normal.
But I just got a phone call from my baby girl, and she just got hired as "News Director" for a cluster of 5 radio stations in Klamath Falls, as well as the 4 hour morning show co-host for one of the stations, KLAD, in Klamath. Geez. Maybe the whole house thing had a purpose. My girl got a career! whew!
In the current climate of more than 10 percent unemployment in Klamath, and 8 percent or so in Oregon overall, it's pretty cool that within a very short time Kevin became the "Program Director" for the cluster and Melody got hired as well. Wow. yes! So they will be doing the morning show together on KLAD. www.kladfm.com
A good day I would say. Guess I will have to listen to the country station when I get home to Klamath. LOL
